Sometimes even when you don't love someone, the thought of never seeing that person who once use to be in your life or once made you happy is still the reason why you listen to sappy songs or stay up late at night wondering what he's up to, or just dying to see him again in some sorta of unguilty way. You can be with a new person, but it certaintly does not take away how much you miss someone if you truly once love that person, no matter how hard the breakup was, or the reasons it was that it didn't work out. You tend to bring good memories in, and let the bad ones go, b/c the bad memories don't matter once that person is gone, it's good ones that keep you missing them. If you love that person, you would be missing them even before they are out of your life, if you don't love that person, you would start to miss them when you remember all the good moments you had with them. If you despise that person, then you really wouldn't miss them at all, b/c you should be glad they are gone.
