At best, the police might accept a report of your vehicle being taken without permission but that's the best you are going to do. If you can, cancel your insurance policy (some States insist that the plates be turned in before they allow this to happen but try anyway). Texas is after all a community property state that honors common law marriage so if the car is in both or your names then you have a problem.
