Yes, he came back. I started to date someone else about 6 months later. He realized the grass was not greener, and also started realizing that he could lose me forever when I referred to him as my "friend" during a phone conversation.

Never wanted to spend time even when he had the time. Never put us first nothing. When i filed for the divorce days later he was trying to come back. what did you do when your ex spouse tried to reconcile with you?

So far this month he has given me…. a vacuum cleaner, two televisions, transported the kids when he never would have, and bought me a Christmas gift.

He may be up to something but I am not interested. Like my Granny used to say, "You never miss your water til your well runs dry". For most men I have dated or liked and the feeling was not returned, I am the best damned woman they will never have…all they have to do for the truth in that statement is ask my ex. It’s too late.

well, first of all, don’t be THAT girl that tries to break up a relationship, no matter how long they’ve been together. but you can still talk to him and be yourself – if anything, that will be what makes him come back (if he does). the reason he was with you is because he obviously likes your personality and looks. throw him a text every couple of days asking him what he’s doing and how he is. maybe you could talk to him about something you both like that you read or saw somewhere. most importantly, let him know that you still care about him and are there for him, even if he’s taken. but don’t let yourself be a doormat for him and let him be a jerk. if he does that, then let him go…

How about leave both guys alone and focus on yourself? If the ex wants you, he knows where to look. And if he does come back, have a very honest talk with him. If he flipped out over you not caring, overreacted then dumped you, he needs some work to do with himself. As for the new guy, he will only be a rebound as you know your heart wouldn’t be with him anyway so let him know that.

I think his decision of going back to you would depend on so many factors, such as his emotional stability, maturity, personal feelings for you and desire to actually make things work again between the two of you.

I am assuming you still want him but I humbly suggest that you do not focus too much of your energy on getting him back. How about letting him realize what a mistake it was for him to let go of you? Guys like challenges, so go ahead and challenge your ex-bf. Just so he won’t take you for granted if ever you do end up on each other’s arms again. =)
