The other day he told me that he doesn’t feel the same way for me anymore & broke up with me. I know this sounds very desperate but I was reading online that there are some books that have psychological tricks to make your ex want you back. I was wondering if anyone has ever read any of the "how to get your ex back" books & what do they say to do..? I do realize how crazy this sounds but I have never met a man like him before & I just want to have another chance to show him that we truly are meant to be together. A few things I think you should know before posting a reply is that our relationship became very complicated when we his mother moved in with us. She started to not like me & openly expressed her opinions in front of him & me. I feel like he’s been very stressed from feeling stuck in between us for awhile & eventually just broke it off. Although he says it has nothing to do with her in my heart I feel some part of it does. I still live in the apartment for now until I can get my name taken off of the lease. Everyday I feel more confused because I’m not sure how to read his emotions. Just yesterday I came home from hanging out with a friend & he tried to kiss me as soon as I walked in the door. I’m not asking for consolation or posts telling me to "just get over it". I am asking for real advice on getting my ex back. Please help!

You can’t make anyone want or love you.

They have to want and love you on their own.

If they don’t want and love you, then its time to realize that getting them back will only breed hatred and resentment.

Would you rather have tears of joy or tears of hatred? Would you rather have that person back in your life, only to realize they’re indifferent to you, and are using you?

You can try, but your best bet is to just leave that person alone. Sooner or later someone better who does want you and does love you will come into your life. That is the one that you focus on.

The ex is an ex. Second chances rarely succeed and a breakup the 2nd time is so much more painful.

So, H and I was dating, then I went to see my ex K, K and I dated for 3 years, And I knew I wasn’t over him fully as I was dating H, H was still in love with his Ex S. But we both dated anyway because we had such strong feelings. One night I broke it off so we both could sort out our feelings and see if we find out the same.

After awhile I knew I wanted him but he ended up liking another now while he likes me.

If she’s not opening up then there’s no chance. It takes two to create a relationship.
However, you can try just asking her to a party with you or something. Like go out somewhere, but not like a date. Be nice to her when you guys go out. Don’t cling to her but still flirt around. She might pick it up, who knows?
