She’s scared to settle down. She is only 18, & wants to experience life before marriage. She doesn’t want to regret anything later down the line or blame you for her lack of experiences in life. I wouldn’t put my whole life on hold for her though. Have your own experiences, & if life brings you two back together, then it was meant to be.

So don’t ignore your ex texts and calls when they break up with you. It screams that you are so devastated by the breakup that you can’t even handle talking to her. You want to respond to her, but do it in the right way. You can even initiate communication if you do it in the right way.
You have to maintain a strong frame of confidence, and show your ex girlfriend that your happiness isn’t dependent on being with her.

Don’t Be Jealous

Listen to me …SHE IS GONNA DATE SOMEONE ELSE. Let that sink in good. And not only is she gonna date someone else, it can easily be someone you know, maybe even one of your friends. Tough to swallow I know. It’s ok if it bothers you, but don’t let it show and don’t call her out on it. Remember, you are not together anymore, and you don’t have any right to tell her what to do.
If you do want to win her back, then you just have to weigh the decision.

Be Flexible

Do not be that stereotypical angry ex. Do not throw out their stuff or demand for them to come pick up their stuff right now. Rather be flexible, easy-going and understanding. A person who doesn’t take things too seriously is an attractive quality in itself. It may inspire your ex girlfriend to start communicating with you again faster then you might think.

I don’t think you ‘get over’ your ex. I think you have to move on.

I was married for 15 years and have been divorced 2. How do you quantify emotions, feelings, events, etc…?

I think what you have to do is put it in its proper perspective. You have to make sure that you move on in a positive way, but you will always remember the love that was shared and the life that was lived as a couple. That can never go away.

I believe that we can love again as deeply as before, but those ties will always remain to the previous relationships.

They were together, the decided that for whatever reason they weren’t a good fit… and they moved on. If they want to keep in touch, then keep in touch. I keep in touch with several of my ex’s also.

But the bottome line… they are all EX’s. They tried it, it didn’t work… what else is there to worry about?

And for the record… if my partner kept getting into my business and deleting things that I added… I’d be finding a new partner.
