I dated a guy for a Month, we had both just gotten out of relationships but we really liked each other. We broke up a month ago because we didn’t see each other enough, and then he got back with his ex girlfriend. We talked tonight and he says he never should have left me, and he realized his ex girlfriend treats him badly and it’s not what he wants. He broke up with her, and now wants me back. My best friend was talking to him, and said he can’t keep going back in forth from girl to girl, and he needs to make up his mind, he says he has. I still have feelings for him, but I don’t want to get hurt again. What do I do?
Well, since you only dated for a month, the relationship wasn’t that serious. If he is genuine and really wants to be with just you, and now can see you enough, I say give him a chance. You’ll know shortly if he really means it.
I broke up with my ex about 3 months ago. Since than we didn’t really talk much and we both started dating different people. About a week ago we started talking again and she kept telling me how much she loves me, but than I go on to find out she has been talking to someone else for about 4 days and she said she doesn’t know what to do. How could I convince her to come back to me?

Sorry about your ex but don’t give up – you can still get your ex back. The first tip I would give you is to give him some space and don’t come on too strong. Spend some time on your self and think about why things went wrong – maybe you were spending too much time together and you both became complacent. It’s important in a relationship to spend time apart, to experience new things and when you are together you are able to share them. This is what keeps a relationship ‘fresh’ and alive. Just remember no relationship is ever ‘safe’ you will always have to work at it (both of you). I guess It all comes down to wether or not both of you want the relationship to work, cos its a two way street.

No, i’ve never thought it was a good idea to take an ex back. Once, i was in love with someone, we broke up… i was smart enough to see that sometimes i fall in love with the wrong person, and i worked to move forward.

Well we broke up because she said she didn’t want to deal with a relationship or boyfriend at the time and that I was trying to be too serious. She really doesn’t want a serious relationship at all. She also said that I was "too committed to her"
