She broke up with me about a week ago. I’m thinking about trying to get back with her again on Christmas hoping that she would think it was sweet and possibly say yes. How can I do this without sounding desperate or anything? All help is appreciated!
Well we broke up because she said she didn’t want to deal with a relationship or boyfriend at the time and that I was trying to be too serious. She really doesn’t want a serious relationship at all. She also said that I was "too committed to her"

So I really care about my ex-boyfriend. I can honestly say ive never felt this way about any guy I ever dated. Heres my story of what happened…
We are in college, He lives directly across the hall from me. He was in my room one night and texted me "wanna go get something to eat?" so i was like of course! He took me to this pizza place and put his arm around me and I new he was trying to kiss me but instead I said, wanna go back to the dorm? We did and that night he was talking to my suitemates and told them that he really liked me. We started hooking up that two weeks later he asked me out. three weeks later we broke up but continued hooking up until November 9.
Now, we were hooking up EVERY DAY from September to november. He made me feel like I was the only girl he was seeing because he told me he was crazy about me and he asked me…are you hooking up with other people? I told him of course not and then i asked him and he told me no. He took me out in public a couple times and we would always kiss and hold hands and kiss WHENEVER WE LEFT EACHOTHER
Now, i return to school one sunday and see hickeys all over his neck..i confront him and he laughs it off. I see photos on facebook of him making out with this girl from a club he met that night. I later find out that he had sex with her on that friday along with another girl the previous night. I then found out he hooked up with a couple people during the time we were hooking up.
I screamed at him…ive been devasted for almost one month and i cant stop thinking about him and it hurts because i feel like he doesnt give a shit about me anymore.
He told my friend that he genuinly liked me but now he just cant anymore.
I want him back…i never realized how depressed i would be that were not together.
Im transferring next semester and only have a few days left here and i want to tell him that i want to be with him.
How can i do this without sounding stupid. please help me =/
The guy is a loser. Spare yourself more heartache: Find someone better. It’s also already obvious to him that you’re easy to deceive and that likely appeals to him.
And if you think you really like someone, wait on the sex. It makes things much more complicated than they need to be. If he really cares about you, he’ll be okay with it. Sex is so much better with someone you truly *know* and respect and love, anyways.

I’ve been dating a guy since the spring. We’re in love and everything. We’ve also been best friends since April 2008. Well on Wednesday morning he broke up with me (on the phone, on my way to class). He kept saying he loves me but he’s "done" and needed to get out. Even though the night before he bought my plane ticket out to come visit him in one week.
How do I get him back?? I haven’t talked to him since. I know that I need to ignore him and just let him come talk to me (he said maybe we could talk in a couple days. So hopefully tomorrow.) but I’m not sure what type of guy he is in this kind of situation! I’m not sure if it would be beneficial for me to tell him I want to get back together, or take the route when you make it clear that you’ve moved on. How do I get him back??
The only way is to just tell him how you feel and then that you want to get back together with him. If it doesn’t work, there’s nothing you can do. He could want you back later on if you want to wait..but sometimes that’s just a waste. Since you’re in love with him, i would give him some time to think about it. Not too much time. Good luck.
We broke up 2 years ago because the relationship got too serious for him, I’ve never had feelings for anyone else except for a guy I dated about a month ago. Me and my ex have always kept in touch. Me and the new guy only lasted 3 days because he wasn’t into it. I still think this new guy is cute and so funny, but I’m not torn up that we’re not together. Now my ex will do anything to get me back, and the only thing harder than talking to him and trying to move on in my freshman year of college (which is consequently 5 hours away from my ex) is not talking to him.
he encourages me to go out and date other guys and to tell him my decision until I’m positive in what I want. I just don’t believe I am giving anyone a full chance because I’m always comparing people to my ex, and they ALWAYS come up short. I don’t want to continue wasting my time. and yes, its terrible timing.
Girl you are 5 hours away from him! Continue to talk with him but till you are closer together, do not make any commitment to being a "thing". If you both are interested in something serious when you are closer together then react to it. Do not commit to him if you are not going to be able to see him regularly, but also do not do anything to jeopardize the relationship (sleep with anyone). He had a reason for pushing you away before what has changed to make him want you now? Did he know of the other guy or is it just a coincidence on the timing? Can you continue talking to your ex without making a commitment to him? Is he going to join you at the college?
